The Doux is expanding its reach beyond store shelves and into the digital world with My Salon Empire, a new experience built inside Roblox. The haircare brand, known for products designed for textured hair, is using the platform to connect with a younger audience that spends much of its time online.
My Salon Empire lets players run their own salon, style virtual clients, and build a business from the ground up. The game centers on textured hair, a detail the brand says matters because representation in beauty has often lagged behind reality. Players can experiment with looks, manage appointments, and grow their reputation as they move through the game.
The move fits a broader shift in how beauty companies reach customers. Instead of relying only on ads or retail displays, brands are creating spaces where people can interact with them directly. Roblox, with its huge user base, offers a way to do that at scale.
For The Doux, the game is also a statement. Black beauty has long shaped style and culture, yet it has not always been given the same attention in mainstream spaces. By building a salon world inside one of the biggest gaming platforms, the brand is placing that culture front and center.
My Salon Empire is available now on Roblox.
