Gameoverse follows a group of glitched-out characters who become trapped inside a chaotic, corrupted video game world. The show leans into GLITCH's signature weirdo energy, blending hyperactive comedy with existential dread. Early concept art shows a pixelated landscape filled with broken code and rogue NPCs, suggesting a story about what happens when games start to fight back.
The voice cast is already generating buzz. Helluva Boss star Brandon Rogers is attached, alongside One Piece voice actors from the English dub and Zach Hadel from Smiling Friends. The mix of fanbases suggests GLITCH is aiming for a broad but dedicated audience, much like they did with The Amazing Digital Circus.
With The Amazing Digital Circus wrapping up its story, Gameoverse feels like a natural evolution for the studio. It keeps the surreal humor and high-energy animation but shifts the setting from a circus to a console. GLITCH has not announced a release date yet, but production is reportedly underway.
